across the globe! We’ll delve into various cultures’
rich traditions and contemporary expressions, from
Native American beadwork to Aboriginal dot painting.
Discover how art reflects history, identity, and
community, and learn about the evolving practices
of Indigenous artists today.
You’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the creativity and
resilience embedded in these works through lively
discussions and individual presentations.
Possible Topics: How art expresses cultural beliefs and
community identity; traditional methods and natural
materials used in various regions such as
Native American, Aboriginal Australian, Indigenous
Canadian, Pacific Islander, or African Indigenous art; role
of art in rituals and spiritual practices; how Indigenous
artists use art to address social and political issues, etc.
