Co-Registration Policy

How members can co-register for courses

Co-registration lets you to take another course for FREE – provided you have already paid for one or more courses totalling greater than the course you wish to co-register in. Also, your membership must be current.

Click on the link below to email your co-registration request. Be sure to include details of which course you want to co-register. Alternatively you can co-register by telephone (519)-438-3525. Co-registration requests will be processed one week prior to class commencement, and you will be contacted as to the status of your request as soon as possible.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

1. Graphic Designer – Love designing eye-catching posters, PowerPoint slides, brochures, and other marketing materials? If you have experience with graphic design software or similar, we’d love to have you on board! Click here to send us an email, and a committee member will be in touch.
2. Marketing Materials Assembler – Like working behind the scenes? Our Marketing Committee needs help with copying, folding, and distributing promotional materials. Training on our photocopier is provided, and you can complete these tasks on your own schedule. If you’re detail-oriented and like hands-on work, this is a great way to contribute! 3. SLR Ambassadors – Are you passionate about SLR and love talking to people? As an Ambassador, you’ll spend a few hours chatting with potential members at local senior events—no selling involved, just sharing your experiences and answering questions! 4. Event Greeters – Be the friendly face that makes visitors feel welcome! As an Event Greeter, you’ll greet guests, provide directions, answer questions, and help newcomers feel at ease during SLR events. Most events take place at Grosvenor Lodge, with some held at other venues around London. 5. SLR Setup Crew – Like working as part of a team? Our Setup Crew plays a key role in making SLR events successful. You’ll work with 5-8 other volunteers to arrange tables and chairs, set up signs, prepare refreshments, and assist with technical setup (as per instructions). After the event, you’ll help return everything to its original layout. Most events take place at Grosvenor Lodge, but some may be at other venues. 6. Social Events Committee Member – Join the Social Events Committee – it’s where fun happens! The Social Events Committee is the heartbeat of SLR London, creating different and fun ways to bring our community together. Do you have a talent for bringing people together?
