This discussion course explores how Canada might respond to the deteriorating relationship with the U.S., focusing on economic, diplomatic, and security issues. We will debate alternative alliances, trade strategies, and national identity, considering both challenges and opportunities for Canada’s future on the global stage. We will explore whether this U.S. shock weakens Canada or propels it toward a more independent, diversified future.
